Lincoln Park Zoo Christmas Lights
Went down to the Lincoln Park Zoo during a meetup for The Chicagoland Digital Photography group. I didn’t really “meetup” with anyone, I wish I did, there was just so many people and I didn’t see anyone stick out that they were for the meetup. I did get a few shots though!
The last one here of Laura, was 46 Photos stitched together “Brenzier” style

No commentsMid-Ohio ALMS
A little over a year ago I went out to Mid-Ohio with Jason and his dad. I just got around to editing some of my favorite shots. There are so many that I wanted to put up but I just dont have the time to edit all of them at once. Maybe we’ll call this part one someday and I’ll put up some more.
No commentsDJ Tanner | Hemstreet | Vaski @ Birdy’s Live Indianapolis
On October 22nd DJ Tanner opened up for Vaski at Birdy’s Live in Indianapolis. I have done a lot of work with DJ Tanner including promoting, photos, flyers and the Charlie Says Get Down site where we blog about music and all the events that go on. So me and my Girlfriend, Laura, get in the car and head down to one of his bigger events (not the biggest turn out) he has DJ’d at. Below you can find a few of my favorites. My flash was not working correctly so I shot mainly high ISO. If you want to view all 100+ shots then go over to the Charlie Says Get Down post.
No commentsSamantha | Senior Session
In this early morning session we caught some beautiful sun coming up over Lake Tippecanoe. I took us to a beach that I knew at Patona Bay which positioned us to where the sun would come up on the opposite side of the lake. I shot toward the sunrise and played with the sun reflecting off the water a lot and I captured amazing sun washouts as I would like in some of the photos. My favorite being the Portrait where she is standing holding onto a wire of a sailboat and kind of leaning out, second row down on the right. Thank you to Evan her boyfriend for being there to hold the reflector for me and for volunteering his Motorcycle for some shots.

Taylors Senior Photos
All but the last set were shot late in an October afternoon in Chicago, IL.

Studio shots done at the IPFW studio.
No commentsJessica & Custom Chopper

This was actually taken back in March of 2010. I am going through all of 2010 and trying to get EVERYTHING organized, posted, and edited… Before its too late and I start taking more photos. This is actually Jessica’s Dads bike, he built himself. I remember seeing it in pieces in the driveway when he was putting it together.
Hopefully I can get through more and more photos the rest of this winter. I do have a pretty rad set of wedding photos I shot with my good friend Blake Fawley. They are going to be coming due next month. I also have 4 Senior Sessions I need to get selections done with (yes I havent forgotten about all yours!). Just been so busy with websites and new full time job.
Next photo set is getting uploaded tonight. Hopefully new post tomorrow, as well as uploading more sets.. We’ll see though.
No commentsThe Brenzier Method

During Cameron’s Senior Session I had in my mind a shot I really wanted to accomplish and I decided to go to a location that I have had in my mind for a long time!
So I convinced Cam to go out to New Paris and stand still while I shot about 130 shots of this whole scene. Brought it back to photoshop and stitch together this image above which can be blown up to the size of a small country and still not be pixalated! I had to be patient with photoshop for sure… It was really chugging along.
This method is called the Brenzier Method after one of the greatest Wedding Photographers, Ryan Brenzier. Google him! Really Really amazing stuff. But anyways I will be making sure of doing at least on image like this in every session I have from now on! Probably with less photos though…
1 commentCars and Abandoned Buildings
After going up to the Tire Rack in South Bend to get some new tires on my car with my friends Travis and Eddie, we got lost taking a creative way through town. After getting lost and but before really realizing we were heading the wrong way we found the best place to shoot in a long time! First Eddie just pointed out how run down and cool looking this building was and I decided to park the car out in front of it just to play around and see what I could get. The Car was filthy so I didn’t expect to get much. Below You can see what I got.
I only got a couple frames I was happy with of my car. MAKE SURE YOU Click on the Photo to view it Bigger! You really cant see much unless you view them large and on black.. Specially the portrait one.
After taking those photos of my car, me and Eddie decided to take a look inside the building. We were very surprised at what we found! This abandoned building had all kinds of cars mostly European from Audi to MG and there was even a Pontiac GTO. This was a great find and I got some pretty good photos.
This Pan of the Building took about 45 mins to stitch and save out. Working with the 7D Files has put extra stress on my computer and I really need to upgrade my ram to manage these new Higher Resolution Photos. With my 40D I never had any type of problem with the system being sluggish.. I am definitely not complaining though because the 7D’s 18 megapixels create some very crisp images even out of the small sensor!
Audi 5000 and Old 4 door BMW, not sure exactly what kind.
Porsche Diptych
Pontiac Diptych. Click on this one to view on black!
I am not sure what these two last cars are… Leave a comment if you know!
I Hope to make it back to this building before someone tear it down! I am going to go up and do some filming next time. I want to do a bunch of dolly shots and what not then bring it in to the computer add a little score and some motion graphic elements! So HOPEFULLY I can make that happen this summer soon!
