Modelmayhem.com a network site that allows Models, Photographers, Makeup Artist, Film Makers, Advertisers, and all the professionals in Fashion Industry to well… Network! Its a great site filled with talented individuals. I have spent the last few hours browsing peoples work and having a lot of trouble staying away from it to write this little post, its that good! I recommend that everyone that is into fashion photography, and/or Modeling and is interested in networking with industry professionals to sign up for a profile! Check out my Model Mayham Profile.

On another note I also ran into something on Deviant Art that I had heard of but never tried before, Photoshop Actions! Some great little tools to get unique looks out of your photographs with just a couple clicks. Below are a couple of photos that I used actions on and then deleted some of the steps and added in my own editing.

Man, I dont think I have ever been so busy with Photography! I Shot pictures of a Choreographer Named Jo Jo and they came out absolutely Amazing, and then I shot about 300 photos at a Joey Page Concert that was crazy, I had to fight the 14 year old girls in the crowd to get up close, lol. All I have been doing it feels like is pushing the shutter button. Good thing I just got LightRoom, because that has dramatically changed the way I work, and its awesome! Its so fast and streamlined, on most photos I dont have to go into Photoshop to do RAW conversions or save them as JPG’s, I love it! The photos that I got tonight I did in about 5 mins from Import to RAW conversions to Saving out as a JPG’s.

Soon I will have Buried Past Recall Pictures up and Pictures of Jo Jo, They are all Amazing and I cant wait to show them to the Internet! But for now I have to Log off and Slice up a Site that I need to do for Class. BaH!

The photos that that I took not to long ago at The Social of The Audition have made there way up on there Buzznet.com Page! I am stoked about getting that exposure to all the buzznet users and The Audition fans. Other then that I am just working on Buried Past Recall photos from the other day they should be up shortly for your viewing pleasure! Also I am going to get a new camera next week… 40D! SanDisk Extreme III, with a 20mb/s read and write speed this thing could greatly increase the speed of my playback times as well as the speed that I can transfer my photos onto my computer. I also need more space I am getting annoyed with having to go back through pictures and deleting them just so I can take more.

Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, I think this thing is just cool because of its low f-stop and also its not that much money at all, only $80 on ebay but, its just something new to play with really.

I been looking at lens all day and I think this is one of the best deals for me personally. Two Sigma Lens for $200, a 28-70mm and 70-300mm. The 70-300mm has macro capabilities and the 28-70mm has a low f-stop of 2.8. In my opinion these two lens are a perfect combination for the price.

This is my next camera! I am definitely going to save up and get this thing. It’s the Canon 40D, 10.1 MP and 3 in LCD screen are just 2 features that make this camera irresistible, as well as a pretty reasonable price. On eBay you can pick one of these up for around $1200 with a 18-55mm lens!
