Every month at Fullsail there is an Art Show for the students. We submit work to Kim Lomus and then she shows them to her Art History students and they vote on who will be in the show and who will be best of show.
This month was an amazing turn out with some of the best art that I have seen displayed in this show. It was standing room only for the announcement of Best of Show, which my friend Joey Northrup won (photo of the piece below). The show was so good that the governor is going to come through on Friday and see it! Well… He was already going to come see the school but they told us that they were going to keep the show up so that when he comes through he will be able to check it out. Good timing huh!?
Here are some photos from the show!
Lily had one of the best displays in the show, she took pictures of this couch in different locations like a park and in the middle of the road. She then put those pictures in frames and put them on the couch to display them in the art show!

Ok I know its pretty lame to have posted these photos so long after the even but, give me a break I have been sick! I felt like death when I took these photos! I am just getting over it now so I will be able to get back to working on photos and such, I am pretty behind at the moment and will be catching up this weekend believe me!
This last show was a great with the sounds from Buried Past Recall, Jettison Never, Kids Of Survival (whom I am listening to at the moment), and Toby The Fugitive. If you haven’t clicked on any of those links I suggest you do it now!

24 Hours At Daytona, Part 1
This weekend was the Rolex 24 HR at Daytona. My friend from New York flew in on Saturday night at 8 and we headed straight to the track. As soon as we got there we ran into problems with our will call tickets, they closed the will call at 7 for a 24 hour race! Who does that! We ran around to about 4 different places until we found this awesome guy that finally just let us in! I should have gotten his name so I could have thanked him on here. Once we got into the infield we found a place next to the straight after what I believe was the 3rd turn. It was kind of raining and cold but we didn’t care one bit, we were excited just to be there. We stayed up watching till around 6, it started getting really cold! Around 6 we got out the grill and grilled some Fajitas, then I passed out for about 4 hours.
I have quite a few pictures that I still have to process they will be up later but for now I just left you readers with one photo, just a taste. I also have video footage that I will put up! I bet you cant wait! I will finish up everything and have another post tomorrow, right now I have 2 projects to get done.
Show At The Haven
Great show last night at The Haven by the guys in Stricca, Jon The Liar, Buried Past Recall, and From Our Letters. Although I did not get any shots of From Our Letters I did get quite A few great pictures of the rest of the bands.

Battle of the Bands featuring BPR
My friend Chopper invited me out to take some pictures Buried Past Recall at The Social this last Sunday. Even though I ran out of room on my memory card I was able to get 20 pictures that turned out really well. I would have had so many more if I had a bigger card and faster camera but oh well, I will have one soon enough. This was my first live event so let me know what you think!
I also got a Couple shots of Crisis In Hollywood
AST Dew Tour
The AST Dew Tour was last weekend, and I was lucky enough to catch the Dirt Prelims and the BMX Park Fanals, Both of which were record breakers. In Dirt Prelims Ryan Guettler pulled off the First 1080 in competition and won the prelims. I wasnt able to make it to the Dirt Finals because of class but, I did hear when I went back to Park Finals the Nyquist ended up winning. The Park Final was by far the most exciting BMX riding I have ever witnessed! There was 1080′s, Triple Whips and also a front flip tailwhip!! Scotty Cramer Pulled off the Front Flip Whip after only 3 tries, it looked kinda goffy but was awesome non the less.

Uknown Turndown
