This was a pretty fun shoot. Some unfortunate events made it to where I had to shoot inside. This is not ideal for it takes about twice the amount of time. However, I absolutely love shooting more of an artsy shot. I am much happier doing shoots that have a good setting or require creative shots. Its not bad when you have a rare 2004 Aston Martin DB AR1 Zagato to shoot either. Only 99 of these in existence and this particular one was number 18.

Oh how I love race cars. I just did a couple of front 3/4 edits for the Flickr. It sold through RM Auctions at the 2013 Amelia Island Auction, which you can view here. This Porsche 996 GT3 is an older model but still would be great to see it out on the track and even greater if I was behind the wheel. One day. My friend Steve invited me out to West Michigan Honda Meet 12. So I gathered up my friend Tim who works at Kessler Crane and we took out some demo equipment to play with for the day. We used a pocket dolly with a elektraDRIVE Basic Controller and elektraDRIVE Motor to get the shots for this video in particular. The full video will have shots from a jib we had out there as well as time elapse controller on a 5 foot dolly.
This video is just of Erik’s 95 Integra that has been swapped with mostly everything from a Type R. I love these type of builds! No nonsense, just purpose built and gutted to go have fun on the track with. Watch the whole video to see a full lap around Gingerman in the car.

Dave had the task of keeping all 117 cars in John Staluppi’s Cars of Dreams collection in running condition. While down in North Palm Beach, FL shooting the collection to be placed in a catalog for sale, we also quickly shot Dave and his Ford Lightning. I finally got some time this week to touch them up. I wish I could shoot in a studio setting more often because of how sharp the photos come out!
And On December 1, 2012 you can come buy any of the cars in the collection! But not Dave’s Truck, that is not for sale! The next stop of the Green Beret Challenge is coming up this weekend on Saturday, October 27th. So I decided to post some of the photos I got at the last one. I was mainly filming for the video that is located after the jump at the bottom of this post! So I didn’t get all to many photos but the video is amazing and a lot of my shots made it so check it out!

Jordan’s Senior session, shot Fall 2012. Had a good time out shooting in the wilderness for most of this shoot. Then we headed into the streets to shoot with the 1935 Ford Sedan which was actually provided by me. We have 3 different cars to shoot with now. Been in Florida for about 20 some days so far. Mostly shooting cars at a collection in the Palm Beach area. Spending a few days in Orlando just hanging out till we head to North Carolina to film a promo video for the Green Baret Challenge. Caught this Bald Eagle just hanging out as well yesterday during a storm. Had my camera right handy cause I had been trying to catch the storks hanging around as well and got a few quick snaps of him!

On July 22nd Tim and I went to West Michigan Honda Meet at Gingerman Raceway. We took some Kessler Crane equipment with us and had a good time shooting all day. I sent some of the footage over to Josh Geha and he came up with this edit! Thanks Josh!
